10-Player Battle Royale/"Eshow" Darwin Project Now Live
Almost three years since it entered Early Access and nearly two years since it was announced the game would go free-to-play, Scavengers Studio's 10-player battle royale Darwin Project has officially launched on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The shooter forgoes the massive player count of most battle royales, opting instead to add a reality show-style spin where an eleventh player can be added to the game taking the role of "Show Director". These players can influence the match in various ways that may actually factor in to which player is left standing.
While the game is available on all three platforms, it is not a cross-platform game. At least, it isn't yet. Who knows what'll happen in the future. It should also be noted that the game's audio is currently only available in English, although it does have subtitles in German, Russian, English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Spanish. More information on Darwin Project can be found at its official website (although it seems to be having some difficulty loading at the moment.)
