Love It Or Hate It: Dota 2
Some free-to-play games are more polarizing than others, with some sides taking the stance of "great, totally non-exploitative implementation" and others thinking "total pay-to-win trash." We'd like to see on what side of the spectrum the gaming public -- and by that, we mean you guys -- think of certain F2P games, and so we've invented something new called Love It Or Hate It?
Every week, we'll present a new F2P game and give you the option of passing judgment on it. Then we'll look back at it the next week and see what people thought. There are no prizes, except for the satisfaction of knowing you clicked on a button and made something happen. Really, what else do you need?
Last time, we asked you to pass judgment on Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, which got a reasonable thumbs-up from you guys. 40% voted to love it, while only 17% voted to hate it and 43% gave a noncommittal "meh." For a game lots of people describe as "pay-to-win" -- well, people who've never played a CCG before, I guess -- that's a bit surprising.
This week's game is something a little more generally loved by the public, Valve's Dota 2. It's a huge success, but while Hearthstone doesn't have a whole lot in terms of direct competition, MOBA loyalty is fierce -- assuming you want to even use the term "MOBA" in the first place.
Pros: Great competitive atmosphere, strong developer behind it. Also, it's not League of Legends.
Cons: Too hardcore for some players, the usual MOBA toxicity, and... well, it's not League of Legends
So what do you think? Yea or nay for Dota 2? As always, feel free to leave a comment to let us know why you voted the way you did!

What I DO like is the fact they're putting in WC3-style custom games, and that will catapult it to being my favorite game of all time, well, behind WC3.
In terms of actual moba gameplay I prefer league.
