Congratulation To Warframe, Winner of MMOBomb's Free-To-Play World Cup!
In the end, Jedi were no match for space ninjas.
Throughout the Free-To-Play World Cup, we'd seen fairly low vote totals for each contest. We'd thought that by @mentioning the games in the polls that some accounts might retweet them and garner additional support for their games. That didn't happen, though -- until the final round.
This is it! The final confrontation to determine the winner of the Free-To-Play World Cup! Who will it be? @SWTOR or @PlayWarframe ?

The winning margin, 96% to 4%, was the highest we'd seen in any of our contests, and the votes cast were just as gargantuan: 17,696. No other poll had even cracked quadruple digits, yet Warframe fans, it seemed, took up the challenge and sliced through Star Wars: The Old Republic like a hot katana through a ewok.
SWTOR fans, take heart: 4% of 17,696 is still 708, which would have been plenty to win any other matchup in the F2P World Cup. And Warframe fans, don't get too cocky about your victory ... what was that someone said about being struck down and then becoming more powerful than you could possibly imagine?
Congratulations to Warframe for taking the title, to Star Wars: The Old Republic for making it to the finals, and to all the other games, and their fans who voted throughout the contest!
