Always Online Podcast: Did BlizzCon Deliver, Can Wayfinder Survive, Farewell OWL, & Initial Ghost MMO Details Ep 496

What a very weird week in MMO and multiplayer gaming. The Overwatch League (OWL) is done and the future looks bizarre, Digital Extremes lays off over 30 and cuts ties with Wayfinder, Tarisland drops a Warrior trailer, DreamWorld isn't dead yet, Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street and Fantastic Pixel Castle talk up their "Ghost" MMO, and we dive into whether or not BlizzCon delivered for Blizzard the way it needed to on all fronts...including World of Warcraft! All that and more on this week's Always Online!

ABomb to Ubisoft and Ubisoft Nadeo. They are stopping their Trackmania Esports, kinda out of the blue, after a seemingly successful year. They are letting community members take over, and will still try to sponsor or be involved, but it's a big shock to the players, especially the ones who played for spots in the higher leagues. Still hopeful for the plans that community has made for 2024, I really love Trackmania Esports.
