War Thunder Introduces Ground Map That Adapts To The Era Of Vehicles In Battle
The map changes based on what era you're fighting in.
War Thunder is getting fancy with its newest ground map. The Flanders map is coming in the "Kings of Battle" update and it has a really cool new feature. It adapts to the era of vehicles taking part in the battle.
The Flanders map in the strategy game is set in the landscapes of France on the border of Belgium, and features tulip fields and windmills against the backdrop of an old town. The highlight of this new map is that the setting adapts to the era of vehicles participating in the battle. If you're using classic mid-20th-century vehicles, horse-drawn carriages are located on the streets of town and a fallen airship lies on the outskirts. With more modern vehicles you'll see tourist centers and a crashed modern aircraft.
The Flanders map will be coming to War Thunder in the "Kings of Battle" update and will be part of the map rotation for ground battles.
